What this tool adds to your bench
Choose this fence when the work needs an edge to register or brace against. Its8 inch rail provides a longer contact than a single round bench dog. It is a passive positioning accessory, so compare it with a screw hold-down if the job also needs downward pressure.
The rail reverses to offer high and low sides. The selected diagram gives those heights as 1-1/4 inch and 5/8 inch, with an overall width of 2-1/8 inches. Compare the side height with your stock and the access your operation requires rather than assuming the taller side is always preferable.
The package includes two bench dogs, each listed at 3 inches long and 3/4 inch in diameter. Their positions adjust along the fence’s track to suit the setup. Confirm your actual hole diameter and available spacing; adjustability is not a guarantee of compatibility with every bench-hole pattern.
Use the fence as a positioning and bracing reference for the tasks described by BORA, such as sanding and routing setups. It does not replace a complete workholding plan. Compare the POWERTEC pressure-pad clamp or the Narex forged holdfast when preventing lift is a separate requirement.

Questions before you choose
Does this press the work down like a holdfast?
Its fence provides a bracing edge. A screw hold-down or forged holdfast supplies a different restraint when downward pressure is needed.
Why is the fence reversible?
Its high and low sides give different stop heights. Compare each height with the stock and the clearance your operation requires.
Are the bench dogs supplied?
The selected offer includes two 3/4 inch dogs. Their adjustable position helps with setup, but the actual bench-hole diameter and spacing still need to match.
